I know I've been late way too many times and I know you said you would fire me but please don't fire me.

I know when I get up in the morning it takes so long to get ready and then I hit traffic and I have to eat before I get here.

I don't think you should fire me. I'm sure we can come to a mutual way for me to keep my job.
